NMV - Explosions In The Sky

Here is the New Music Video for this week Explosions In The Sky - Last Known Surroundings from their newest album "Take Care, Take Care, Take Care." Explosions In The Sky are an instrumental post-rock band from Texas and they did the Friday Night Lights soundtrack, what makes this video special is that is it their very first music video. Here is a message from the band via their website:

dear you,

in the 12 years that we have been playing together in this band, we have never made or released a video for any of our songs. over the years many fans (perhaps yourself included) have taken it upon themselves to do us the favor and put something together and post it to youtube and, believe it or not, we have seen a great deal of them and have enjoyed almost all of them. thank you guys for offering the time. for this new album we decided to reach out to some talented people and see if we could get something made to order and the 1st "official" video from us is now ready to show. it's for the song "Last Known Surroundings" from the album "Take Care, Take Care, Take Care". it was made by some close friends of ours, mr. david hobizal and ms. sissy emmons and Ptarmak (which is the name of the company they work for). it took them months and months of solid work and we couldn't be more pleased with their finished product. we intend to get a few more videos made by some other friends and film makers over the next few months, but we hope that you enjoy this 1st outing as much as we do.

as always...
thanks for listening.
thanks for caring.
and now, thanks for watching.

forever yours,
explosions

NMV - The Lonely Island - "I Just Had Sex" (feat Akon)

I'm a few days late on this one but better late than never. Here is your New Music Video of the Week, its 'I Just Had Sex' featuring Akon by The Lonely Island. The guys who brought you such classics as 'Chronicles of Narnia' and 'I'm On A Boat'. The video also features the hot Blake Lively and the over-rated hot Jessica Alba so check after the jump motherfuckers!

NMW - Pissed Jeans - "False Jesii Part 2"

New Music Video time! This one is so fuck'in weird its awesome, check out Pissed Jeans

NMW - Madiha *Worst Video Ever*

Here's another New Music Video for this week and its not your average music video. Its SOO BAD! The video is all green screen, terribly edited but whats worst is the song. It sounds like a karaoke song, it sounds like a really poorly recorded song. The rest of the songs on Madiha's myspace are just as bad quality, they're beats put together probably on a program like Garage Band but not even well done then recorded the vocals with the crappy on-board microphone.
If you check the keywords tagged on the video the girl has put names like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and titles to their songs obviously to garner more hits. Oh she's gonna get hits, just not the kind she wants.

Check the karaoke-shitfest after the jump.

NMV - Four Year Strong

This New Music Video comes from Four Year Strong of their song 'Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday).' Its the band re-enacting the American Civil War, very well shot I have to say. Check it after the jump!

BONUS VIDEO!
Here's another one by FYS which I personally enjoy this one, its for the song 'It Must Really Suck To Be Four Year Strong Right Now' and the girl that grabs the mic in the cat outfit is pretty cute!

NMV - Hannah Georgas Bang Bang You're Dead

First New Music Video of the 2010! This one comes from Hannah Georgas, I saw her perform during NXNE this year and she is fucking incredible! The song is called 'Bang Bang You're Dead' check it after the jump.

NMV: Aliqua - Nothing Else Matters

Its been a while since the last 'New Music Video' post but this one is good. The group is called Aliqua, according to their label's website they are a 'contemporary choral act' from Vancouver and they do a great cover of Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters'. Check it out after the jump.

Retro Music Video: Grade

Its been awhile since my last 'New Music Video' post, but now I'm starting another on-going set of posts called 'Retro Music Video'(RMV).

The first one is 'A Year In The Past, Forever In The Future' by Toronto hardcore band Grade. Admittedly it isn't the greatest video but still a GREAT song.

NMV: Saint Alvia - "Romeo"

New Music Video: Rise Against Savior

New Music Vid: The Girl At The Video Game Store

Not my usual type of music I put up but I like this one. This is Parry Gripp of Nerf Herder, doing "The Girl At The Video Game Store" featuring none other then the lovely Olivia Munn.

New Music Video: Alexisonfire - Young Cardinals

New Music Video: Cancer Bats

Here's the new one from Cancer Bats, Deathsmarch, enjoy.

New Music Vid "City and Colour"

Its time for another new music video. This one's coming from City and Colour(fuck you American spell check!)" aka Dallas Green of one of my favourite, if not favourite bands Alexisonfire(goddamn shitty spellchecker! these words are RIGHT!). The song is "The Girl" off of his latest album Bring Me Your Love.

Coming up...movie review!

Music Video Time!

Alright after this post I'm going to bed due to being up the last 24 hours. Not really I have to say, just wanna keep up the flow of posts here. So here's newest video from Cancer Bats "Lucifer's Rocking Chair" off the newest album Hail Destroyer.

'Gotta say not their best, at least not compared "Pneumonia Hawk" off their previous album. Lumberjacks!

New Music Videos

Not much today, couple new music videos that just came out about last week or so. First one is Against Me!'s Borne On The FM Waves Of The Heart featuring Teagan Quin of 'Teagan and Sara.'

Next one is Rise Against's first single Re-Education (Through Labor) off their soon to be released album "Appeal To Reason", looks like they're going for the same thing back to the Give It All video. I only just noticed that both bands have "Against" is both names.

I can't find a copy of this video that hasn't disabled the embedding so here
